In Euro NCAP’s 2025 safety tests, Volkswagen Group submitted several popular models built on the MQB Evo platform. The Audi Q3 underwent its first test, while the Škoda Octavia, Volkswagen Golf, ID.4, and T-Cross were reassessed under updated protocols. The Q3, Octavia, Golf, and ID.4 all achieved the maximum five-star rating, showcasing strong safety standards. However, the Volkswagen T-Cross lagged behind with just three stars. With the transition to EVs taking longer than expected, these results highlight the extended lifecycle and ongoing relevance of VW Group’s combustion-powered cars.
