Repainting the 6 point bolt in rollcage for my 1980 Opel Kadett Historic Rally Car satin black using products from DoranSleator, The Paint Specialists/Motorcolour.ie with my Jefferson Tools spray gun from E Fox Engineers Ltd
For this DIY home spray painting job I used modern 2k paint compliant with current legal standards which limit the VOC's in paint. Mine was sourced from DoranSleator, The Paint Specialists/Motorcolour.ie 00353 (0) 47 81649. I did my best to maintain 20 degrees centigrade in the garage and used an air fed mask with an external source from the building among other safety precautions. If you are planning a similar job you should do your own thorough research into the safety precautions required as well as your legal obligations. Bear in mind different requirements for commercial and private use.
