Harin’s musical journey is nothing short of inspiring. Born in Germany and moving to the U.S. in 2020, she began studying under Prof. Kurt Sassmannshaus at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music as a Dorothy Starling Scholarship recipient at age 9. Since then, she has garnered top prizes at competitions across the country, including the Sejong Music Competition in Chicago and the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition.
A Few Highlights About Harin:
Solo Debut: At age 11, she made her solo debut with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
The Instrument: She performs on a magnificent 1828 Giovanni Francesco Pressenda violin and a G. Lucchi bow, generously on loan from the Maestro Foundation.
Versatility: When she’s not on stage, Harin is a county-level 2025 Spelling Bee champion who enjoys reading and spending time with her cats.
