I paid $30 for this guitar at a garage sale. The neck was installed crooked, the electronics and pickups were falling apart, the setup was brutal. This video shows how I removed the Tremolo bridge and installed a cheap hardtail bridge. It stays in tune better now!
Other previous mods I have done: -Recarved the neck profile to a slim modern C, stained, and waxed it -Fret ends filed, frets leveled and crowned -All new budget electronics and pickguard from Temu
This now makes a fun beater guitar for my kids to mess around with.
Future plans: New paint job and tuner keys
