Today I’m out on my custom Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 for a wonderfully lazy ride through the stunning back lanes of the Chilterns.
And whilst enjoying the scenery, I got to thinking about how our tastes as motorcyclists evolve over time. From track days to off-roading, sports bikes to touring bikes, it can take years after passing your test to work out what sort of riding you truly enjoy.
For me? I’ve realised it’s all about touring, adventure bikes, retro motorcycles and relaxed rides on beautiful roads at a sensible pace.
Along the way I also give you an update on my summer riding kit, enjoy some cracking Chiltern views… and very nearly run out of petrol!
