The Equator: Life Where the Sun Never Sets | Equator | 4K

Welcome to the center of our world. In this 4K documentary, we take you on a journey along the Equator to see how life thrives in a place where the sun never sets and the "eternal summer" never ends. Our adventure begins on a traditional sailing ship crossing the Atlantic Ocean from Canada toward Brazil, where we face the unpredictable "doldrums" at the Earth's zero point.

From the coast, we head into the lush Buenaventura Forest in Ecuador to meet the dedicated rangers protecting rare wildlife like the El Oro parakeet. Finally, we travel to the high-altitude training grounds of Iten, Kenya, to discover why the world’s best long-distance runners choose to train on the edge of the great Rift Valley. Join us as we explore three different continents to uncover the secrets of life at the center of the world.
