Our sessions are recorded with the amazing British-designed Sontronics microphones. Usually we’ll use an Orpheus (the one with the large spherical head), the incredible SOLO dynamic mic, or STC-2 on vocals and acoustic guitars. The chunky DM-1B for kick drum and the STC-1 pencil mics or STC-80s on percussion. Check out their website – http://bit.ly/ontsofasontronics – and if you’re interested in any of their mics, email jason@ontsofa.com and we’ll put you in touch with the lovely Sontronics team.
