Twenty-two years after my original Push The Tempo AMV first hit the internet of 2004, I return with a full re-imagined version, rebuilt using the latest technologies of the future™.

The original still holds up surprisingly well, but after more than two decades, it was clearly time to drag it into 2026 with a fresh coat of paint. What was supposed to be a quick and easy refresh somehow turned into me rebuilding most of the timeline from scratch, adding new effects, tighter pacing, some sick lip-sync, and even a little Nostro cameo for those paying attention at home.

Push The Tempo was the very first AMV I ever submitted to a contest, so bringing it back for this year’s AMV France Japan Expo felt like the perfect full-circle moment. Naturally, I was rushing like hell to finish it in time.

Unfortunately, I was informed that the staff from AMV-France team became significantly aroused by the post-credit scene and were apparently unable to keep their dicks in their pants during the screening. I was therefore advised that it might be wiser for me to turn towards HMV contests instead. A tragic loss for the Japan Expo Contest as I probably would have won first place.
