A lower hairline positioning can look fresh and youthful. That doesn’t automatically make it the smarter transplant.

During the consultation, Dr. Zarev measured the full donor area and took dozens of microscopic images. His estimate was:

11,300 grafts available in total 9,300 stable, non-miniaturized grafts 2,000 miniaturized grafts

And no, that doesn’t mean all 9,300 stable grafts should be extracted. You still need to leave enough hair behind so the donor area doesn’t end up looking thin or overharvested.

So the real question isn’t only, “Which hairline looks better?” It’s: How much long-term risk would you accept for a lower hairline today? The AI image is just a visual simulation, not a guaranteed surgical result.
