Lois walked into Clark's life and never once asked him to be less than he was. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly encouraging, and she pushed Clark to be the best version of himself. She didn't need to know every secret to love him fully — she just did.
Clark and Lana? In my opinion, that relationship was always one secret or one lie away from falling apart. The drama never stopped, the trust never fully held - and Lana kept Clark stuck. Stuck in his feelings, stuck in who he was instead of who he was always destined to become.
Lois was undoubtedly, the love of Clark's life. And that was stated by Clark in the show.
