I caught up to ELS 400 and 1221 heading north towards Channing after spending the afternoon watching the original ELS line being RIPPED APART to the east.. After a few crossings comes the main attraction and I did NOT trespass upon getting permission.. This excavator pulls a tool that rips the rails right off the ties that supported them for the last 100 years! Trees blocking the way? I don't see no stinking trees!
