We rebuilt the workshop doors. We made the double-glazed glass ourselves, but after about 10 years the inside has become cloudy. Because we live in a humid area, it seems that mold has gotten in. It's now so much brighter. We need brightness in the room when doing detailed work such as finishing work. This door is on the north side, so direct sunlight doesn't come in, and it lets in just the right amount of light. These days we are keenly aware that our eyes are getting weaker as we get older. The number of electric lights in the workshop has been increasing in recent years.
This time we used 2x4 white pine wood and assembled it with domino joints.
工房ドアを作り変えました。 今までの扉には自分たちで作った２重ガラスを付けていたのですが、10年程経って内側が曇ってしまいました。 湿度が高い地域なので、カビが入ってしまったようです。 とっても明るくなりました。 仕上げなど細かな作業する時には室内にには明るさが必要です。 このドアは北側にあるので直射日光は入らず、程よい明り取りになっています。
我々、年齢を重ね、目が弱ってきているのをひしひしと実感している今日この頃。
近年工房内の電灯もどんどん増えていきます。
今回は2×4のホワイトパイン木材を使って、ドミノジョイントで組んでいます。
