First look at the upcoming trailer for one of my favorite raids that my team and I have been working on for the past year. Ulduar features breathtaking design, massive scale, and some of the most unique boss encounters ever created, and making a large-scale trailer for it has been on my bucket list for years.
Production began in late 2024 and is expected to wrap in Q2 2026, featuring around 90 shots and a total runtime of 5 minutes.
We’re running a bunch of RTX 4090 and 5090 cards almost around the clock, continuously rendering various shots, prototypes and simulations while working to elevate the WoW-stylized look into something more realistic and grounded. Many community artists are also contributing to the project with highly specialized tasks like modeling, rigging and custom animation.
