Haley Reinhart - Three Thoughts on...Being an Old Soul.
Haley Reinhart is one of those rare vocalists who sounds convincing singing almost any genre of music. She made her mark ranking third in the 2011 'American Idol' competition, and since, she's made sure there's a wild diversity to her choice of material. Jazzy vamps through White Stripes and Britney Spears, a stab at hippie-era jewels "White Rabbit" and "Light My Fire," even a sassy update of the Kinks' "Sunny Afternoon." Reinhart is a pro at personalizing classic songs - for proof, check her latest album, 'What's That Sound'. When she stopped by Vevo for her 'Three Thoughts' chat, the 28-year-old explained one of the reasons why: she's an old soul. "I've really been drawn to various eras, and I've had a cool feeling of familiarity [with several of them.] The Victorian age, the smokey jazz clubs, and of course up to the '60s and '70s - I live and breathe that stuff today. I sometimes think I was born in the wrong time." Find out more as Haley discusses being an old soul.
