✨ THIS IS THE GREEN SCREEN PONY CLIP TO END ALL GREEN SCREEN PONY CLIPS. Let me explain: I remember the good old days, when the primary method of pony extraction was to slowly trace them frame by frame. I have fond memories of watching Navybrony streams on Livestream in 2012 where he'd do just that for hours on end. These streams inspired me to learn and experiment with other methods, namely color-based extraction [keying each color of the pony one by one with some manual correction instead of tracing the entire pony frame by frame.] As time went on and I experimented with more and more tools and techniques, I had quite an assortment of tricks in my toolbox to throw at a clip. No two Green Screen Pony clips were made exactly alike; most required careful masking and various tricks. But then, in 2019... the big leak happened. Assets for entire episodes leaked onto the internet, and we as a fandom could simply open these "raw" DHX studio project files with infinite resolution and export or edit anything we'd like. Is any other fandom as lucky as us? Anyway, this clip does not use those leaked assets, but I did use the leaked assets as a matte on the released episode footage. What you're looking at here is 100% from the normal, released episode, but with PERFECT "tracing." That's why this clip is impossibly detailed; you could never get those translucent wings and detailed holes with any other technique. This is... THE IMPOSSIBLE GREEN SCREEN PONY. I may or may not upload more clips in the future but as far as I'm concerned this marks the conclusion to this story. The ride never ends.
Before you comment: No, you're not actually meant to use a chroma keyer with this. As with all downloads, I include a transparent version too. The green background is for the sake of the channel's theme.
