The guys over at Foil Dash sent me a unit to put through its paces, test out on the water, and give my complete, 100% honest feedback. In this video, we do a complete first-look and performance test of the Foil Dash system. We start with an overview of the hardware right out of the box, quick assembly and board installation, take it out for a full performance water test, and finish with a breakdown of exactly what I liked and—just as importantly—what I disliked about the setup.

Unlike traditional efoil assit setups that mount the battery enclosure directly to your board, Foil Dash uses a waist belt design. By wearing the battery pack on your waist, you reduces eliminate swing weight from the board, keeping your foil setup feeling incredibly light, responsive, and close to a pure prone or pump foil experience. That is what we are testing!
