Explore Eagle Nest Cams

Welcome to the West End Bald Eagle nest on Catalina Island, a site of incredible conservation success maintained in partnership with the Institute for Wildlife Studies. This "Medium View" camera provides the essential context of the nesting site, capturing not only the historic nest bowl but also the surrounding perches and cliffside. As part of a restoration program that began in 1980, this camera offers a window into the recovery of the species on the Channel Islands. To get the complete multi-cam experience, you can switch to our West End Low Cam for intimate close-ups of the nest interior, or the West End Overlook for a wide-angle view of the eagles soaring over the island peaks.
