EXIT is the two-time winner of the âBest Major European Festivalâ award and is continuously recognized by global music stars, fans, and the media alike.
Held each year at the 18th century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad in Serbia, EXIT started as a student movement whose massive protests brought down the oppressive regime in Serbia. EXIT became the first mass event to gather people from all over the Balkans after a long decade of divisions.
In 2025, EXIT Festival celebrated its monumental 25th anniversary with over 200,000 visitors from around the world, continuing its tradition as one of Europeâs leading and most diverse music festivals. Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, it is the social relevance of EXIT that has made it unique and globally recognized, hosting stars like Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, The Cure, The Killers, Guns Nâ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Liam Gallagher, Grace Jones, Fatboy Slim, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Migos, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Avicii, and many others.
