OpenAI's first ever piece of hardware is a $230 keypad with thirteen keys that can't type a single word.

It sounds expensive until you've got 4 coding agents running at once and no idea which one is stuck waiting on you. The 6 Agent Keys glow a different color for every state, so "is it thinking or did it break" becomes something you answer with your peripheral vision. The dial sets how hard the agent thinks, and the joystick fires off a whole workflow.

Now the catch. It's was a limited run, and it sold out in roughly a day. If you're babysitting a fleet of agents all day, the color-as-status thing fixes a real, boring, daily annoyance. If you're not, congrats on the most expensive mood lamp in your office. 😅
